I have been a science teacher for ten years and I love being able to perform demonstrations to create an exciting science classroom. I believe that science should be fun and that students should want to be in class and actually look forward to it. I grew up with science class being really boring (except for one teacher) and I didn't really develop a love for science until I reached university and was able to perform labs and gain a deeper understanding of science.
I have found that when I do demonstrations or activities in class that I spend so much time searching for one that I want to do, or finding the exact one that I have done in the past or forgetting that I have one that fits in with a curricular objective means that I don't do as many as I'd like to do. I came up with the idea of compiling the demonstrations that I do in one website that makes it much easier for me to find and perform demonstrations.
I hope that you enjoy the site. I will be adding more demonstrations and experiments as I find more.
